Can I use MagicDoc without PDF995?
Yes, if you are not interested in PDF conversion you can use MagicDoc and all its other features as scanning, document archiving etc..

How can I use PDF995 with MagicDoc?
IInstall MagicDoc and PDF995 on your PC .
Then from the MagicDoc main menu select UTILITY and then SET PDF995 INI. That’s it. From now on, as you print using the PDF995 printer, at the end of the PDF conversion process the MagicDocPDF window will pop up and ask you how to archive the document.

How can I create a CD of all of my documents?
Create an empty folder on your PC. Run MagicDoc then select from the main menu UTILITY and then CREATE CD. A folder explorer will pop up. Select the previously created folder and press OK to confirm. MagicDoc will create in that folder all the data and the other needed folders..

 The main folder is named CDROOT. All the documents will be decrypted and copied to the proper folders. Also a special version of MagicDoc will be copied. Make sure you have enough space on your hard disk (consider that all your document files will be copied in the new folder so at least the same space must be available). Then simply burn your CD, using your preferred burning CD program. When you copy the data to your CD make sure that the files and all the other folders in CDROOT folder are copied in the root of the CD. This way the CD will autorun when inserted. The special MagicDoc program included in the CD will allow you to view documents without any installation. NONE of the documents present on your CD WILL BE ENCRYPTED.
Of course CDROOT can be copied to any other store device as hard disk, DVD etc..

How can I use MagicDoc in a network?
Yes, just use the archive on the server machine.

Can I use my favorite program to view the archived documents?
Yes, you can use your preferred viewer buy simply pressing the left button. The program associated with the file type extension will be automatically executed
